Pros

decent benefits, four weeks of vacation is a good sell, company products is reputatable

Cons

terrible middle management tier as there are not a whole lot co-operating between teams and makes things very difficult to progress. Inconsistent skill set on designated roles makes every action takes extra time. For example, you would have expect a PM to understand PM work or DBA understand fundamental DB concepts but that seems to be a luxury in many cases.
