Pros

- Lots of opportunities to advance career and develop new skills. - Management is very supportive of initiative when it comes to thinking of new ways to do things and process improvements which is shockingly rare now adays; I was able to make a lot of major changes which had a positive impact in our department. - A genuine feeling like you're making a difference. I worked with the healthcare division and it was a huge job satisfaction driver to know that I was making a difference in patient care.

Cons

- Company does even come close to fair compensation if you rise above your original position. I was promoted 4 times during my tenure and never got more than a 5% raise, even as employee benefit share continued to increase each year; I was actually taking home less in 2017 than I was in 2014 despite 2 promotions. When I left I was earning close to 40% less than market value for my position and level of expertise. - Unequal treatment of remote employees. Those who worked within the Florida and Massachusetts offices seemed to get much more respect and than those of us who worked from around the country. - The drawback to being part of a critical industry like Healthcare is that a lot of times work had to supersede personal life. This isn't really the fault of the company but important to note nonetheless.

Pros

Not only did this opportunity allow me to earn, but allows a flexible schedule to work around the needs of my family.

Cons

The only con is that the pay is a bit low to start out. This is remedied with productivity bonuses after independence.
