Powerscribe MLS at Nuance

Pros

Working from home and they will supply a computer if need be.

Cons

Management does not care about the MLS. There is not enough work to go around. The pay is horrific and they don't even pay us for the work we do. We only get paid for half of the lines we edit. We have to fill out logsheets to keep track of the work we do and send them in each week which takes up time that we could be working. Even with the logsheets my timecard is wrong every week and lines are always missing. When I tell management they always have an excuse. I never know if I am getting paid correctly or not. They want us to be perfect though. We get lower pay if our quality score is under 99.9%. Everything is done through emails and conference calls. Sometimes management answers your emails and sometimes they don't. At my age it is hard to find another job but I am definitely looking. This place is a joke.

Pros

Work from home. Basically this is a good alternative to working at McDonalds, The pay is lower and you don't get free hamburgers.

Cons

No communication with manager. Pay is less than minimum wage. Frequently run out of work with no explanation as to how to get paid for the lost time. This is a scam.
