Pros
You work from your home office, and you receive your meagre wages on time. That's it.
Cons
The compensation is now so paltry that I am amazed anyone works for them at all! Long hours, very low pay. You would be better off working for Walmart or Tim Horton's...at least in those places, when your shift is over, it's over...you don't have to keep pushing yourself and work extremely long hours to reach their minimum production standard (which is constantly being raised by this company, regardless of the fact that you signed a contract with them). To make a decent wage (i.e. equivalent to hospital salaries), you would have to work 14 hour days, 7 days a week, or more...and that includes experienced transcriptionists. The compensation per dictated minute has actually decreased since 2003!!
