Pros

-Oracle invests a significant amount of time, resources and money in employee on boarding and training. -Quotas are typically attainable. -Understanding and selling various components of the Oracle stack enables holistic view of the software industry. -Opportunities for upward mobility.

Cons

-If you're not a self starter you can fly under the radar but it will be very difficult to be successful. -Internal approval processes are convoluted and frustrating. -Current sales model and inside rep/outside rep relationship is counterproductive.

Pros

Oracle continues to invest in the cloud and cement its status as a dominant player in the industry. There are multiple acquisitions per year to increase your bag of products.

Cons

Lots of reptape to go through that doesn't always make sense. Management can sometimes be clueless.
