Pros

On a non-management position the place is great for the flexibility. It allows homeworking and also provides all the necessary technology for the job. It is a company where is important to get things done, no matter when/how, the restriction level is low meaning that it allows creativity, self time management and self service.

Cons

Salaries are not flexible, you need to be very happy with the salary when you sign the contract as you will not see relevant changes even in case of promotions. Bonuses are also low comparing to different other companies and they are not yearly, the annual employee appraisal with high score does not necessary come with any bonus.

The highlight of working at oracle has always been the people. In my department there are only young, dedicated, energic people. All eager to provide the best services for our internal and external customers.

Cons

The salary at Oracle for most Contracts employees (or employees in general) does not increase. It just basically remains the same throughout the employment period. Furthermore, if one employee decides to follow a different opportunity within Oracle the salary remains unchanged regardless of the standard compensatory package of the new job role. This policy is in place in order to not encourage employee migration.
