Pros

Good work life balance- they really are very supportive of this. Worknig from home, very commen and everything is provided to enable this Some very talanted people to work with, if only Oracle would recognise this and do what it needs to retain them good systems compared to other companies good on the CV- it will open doors easy to move around the business- internal moves are encouraged Excellent Benefits

Cons

Increasingly political and that is now driving the business at the grass roots Hit and miss on the management side, there are a lot of managers rising up who have got there by knowing the right people and not on merit. Lots of talk about people development, but they don't follow through. Its up to you, and you can't progress without getting political payrises are poor (1%) or non existent- I have seen some of the best people leave in recent years because they couldn't afford to stay there anymore. It doesn't take long before you find yourself 20- 30 % below market rates. Used to be a good culture- not any more, Oracle has lost something with all the acquisitions
