Pros

Unlimited sick time I suppose. Seriously I know people that call out almost once a week. It's nearly impossible to get fired.

Cons

ZERO opportunity for internal advancement. You will never get a raise. Even if you get promoted they are not going to give you a raise. There is no benefit to putting more than minimal effort into your work, you're not getting rewarded. Everyone eventually figures this out and does less, so the few people that do work get buried and quit. It's a race to the bottom. Oracle managers have no power to reward or punish. They are perhaps the most useless people on the face of the earth.
