Pros

Good job security. Lot of learning opportunity - mainly through online (self-learning) tools. Excellent, supportive people - especially in the Customer Support and Development organizations. Managers at lower and middle levels are generally quite respectful and considerate towards employees. Not sure if the same can be said about other groups like Consulting, Sales etc.

Cons

Not much opportunity for career growth, especially in the US. Pay does not grow much either. Being a huge organization with lots of acquisitions, they are probably trying to get rid of people than hire, especially in the Sales and other common administrative functions - which is understandable.

Pros

Easy to be a slacker, if that's your thing

Cons

There is no career growth and no transparency with anything when you belong to one of the GBUs. There is no communication about career paths, bonuses or performance reviews.
