Pros

salary average some great product / technologies

Cons

One of these rare companies where software audit has been industrializing: bad reputation on the market Too many employees: as a sales I have to do almost everything’s and get barely support from the company Making a proposal with internal tools takes forever (more than 5 days sometimes with complication of licensing / hw model) Organization is not helping sales: challenged each and every time for stupid metrics, management has no clue what a customer looks like and ask to spam them with our stupid Eloqua mass mailing system Worst organization on the planet: each and every org is in charge only of its product: in the end for each customer you have 5 to 8 sales addressing different subjects -> customer are confused and lost Oracle is currently trying to follow the market with its new cloud model, but the organization remain the same : 50% of the people aren’t aligned with the business or are just there to slow own the selling process.

Pros

The cloud strategy is very good. A lot of new and innovative cloud services coming out. Broad portfolio in every layer.

Cons

It is chaos in the cloud team. Management comes from IT dinos. They focus on on prime and attach cloud in this deals. They do not see the value add.

Pros

Working flexibility depends on individual hiring manager. Not a bad environment with extensive office facilities. Not much that I can think of.

Cons

Quota changes frequently, but no change in package. Working here for 6years, but increment is pathetic. Comm payout is not clear in terms of calculation. Comm payout so far is pathetic given that the quota is high, even if you overachieve by 300%. Appraisals is of useless in the organization as it does not give you any increment or promotion. Internal transfer requires one year in the role, and transfer is not as easy as what they claim to be supportive in such moves. No clarity in career path as they wish that you will just be contented with whatever you have and not ask for any progression. Management is slow in such areas. No motivations in the organization.
