Pros

The company is great to learn new things. It has a great name with a lot of recognition. Great to start and build your career. Pretty big and complex projects with large number of people. You can have access to great training and meet really smart people.

Cons

Too many processes. It's hard to go into projects that are cool and interesting. Deadlines are not met and projects extend beyond reason. I would like to see a more agile approach similar to Google.

Pros

Talented co-workers, good product set with history of producing world class products and support, excellent industry reputation and recognition, strong product strategy for incorporating the many products acquired over the past several years, commitment to support the legacy versions of applications acquired, expanding applications footprint

Cons

Some confusion with expansion, takes time to assimilate acquired products, people and corporate cultures. Sales organization sometimes is a bit aggressive for some customers liking. Consulting organization struggles at times to handle large programs or projects, often partners with other consulting organizations where the other consulting organization assumes the lead role in the programs or projects.
