      Pros

      Oracle is a well respected brand and it can launch you're career to new levels.

      Cons

      Training - There is 0 training. No one understands the technology and if you'd like to learn, Oracle won't fit the bill, even for it's own courses. Incentive - None Pay - there's 2 categories at Oracle for pay. A small category who's getting paid and a much larger circle who's not. How Expendable Employee's are - They make a big team and everyone has one task, making you 100% expendable.

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule, great group of colleagues, Great medical and dental benefits.. This is a very large corporation. If you prefer working at small companies, this is not the place for you. You must be able to work independently. Great company if you are in Sales or Consulting.

      Cons

      No raises, only every 4-5 years and only 1-1.5% if given one, vacation is capped at 144 hrs per year (3.6 wks) no matter how many years with the company, individual contributors do not get bonus. If you are revenue generating you will get commission and bonus,otherwise negotiate a high starting salary you may be the same for 4-5 years.

      Pros

      The ability to work from home was a huge bonus with Oracle. The time off / PTO / flex schedule was an incredible element of work-life balance. The salary was competitive.

      Cons

      You're working for someone (Larry Ellison) that runs a fear-based, top-down kingdom. It is not a pleasant place to be from the standpoint of long term growth and true innovation.
