Pros

learn the technology. Met good people.

Cons

There is no clear vision or KPIs set. the leadership keeps on changing. The sales reps do not believe in the strategies set by upper management. Unqualified leaders (lacking of experience and know how are holding senior positions) I wouldn't recommend anyone to join Oracle. It is demotivating when you see good talent getting out because of the way they are treated.

Pros

You'll work with some wonderful colleagues, impossible to be fired, decent benefits package, products are good

Cons

Isolated location with few amenities. You will NEVER receive a pay raise... The lies start at your recruitment process, proceed during your interviews and continue throughout your 'career' at Oracle. "If you're not lying, you're not trying". This is the ethos of Oracle Dublin. You cannot be successful here based on your own merit and talent as your territories, deals and commissions are all at the hands of a deeply corrupt and narcissistic management team. The only corporate sponsored training that managers receive is a workshop in how to behave in court while being sued for screwing reps out of commission (Seriously). They are completely out of touch with the technology they are selling and the customers they are selling to. There is absolutely zero strategy. Management will force their way into customer engagements just to be "seen".... This more often than not ends in disaster as senior management are known as "deal killers" (true story). Morale is extremely low at Oracle Dublin. You will not be interviewed on the sales floor because management do not want you to see the empty chairs. The sales floor is like a library. Turnover is shocking. Managers lock themselves in meetings for hours a week. In my nearly 3 years I have never seen any productive output of these meetings... Zero. It's a clown car. In apps there is approximately 1 manager for every 2 reps. So you'll be drawn into ridiculous 1on1's and meetings about meetings so that they can justify their positions and salaries and be seen to be busy. Back stabbing is rife. Collaboration is a dirty word because of this. Internal resources are hard to come by at Oracle... There is a lot of red tape just to get any help with a client. You'll rely heavily on partners because knowledge and expertise does not exist inside of the building... even though many people have between 10-30 years of experience. They are only talented at justifying failure each quarter. Oracle does not like to pay commissions for honest work. You will be screwed (see management training).

Pros

Working Currently within NetSuite. Great benefits like health insurance, location convenient. NetSuite recruiting great talent as new recruits bring enthusiasm.

Cons

Bullying culture ignored by some managers. Reflected poorly on managers priorities of this not being a concern as it was raised numerous times. Understand that HR only took action to terminate employment of misconduct/Sexual harassment case of a particular employee but this was done way too late. Should have been dealt with within a couple of weeks instead of 7 months of negative culture accumulating. Highlights poor management hierarchy.
