Pros
Oracle is a big company so its compensation and benefits are competitive. Other than the current exceptional economic climate, working at Oracle should be secure (provided that you do your job, of course). There may be pockets within Oracle where you can be doing really interesting work.
Cons
Oracle is a big company so its culture can be a bit cold and stagnant. My immediate supervisor was one of the main reasons that Oracle was a nice place to work. You have to put up with a lot of processes, many are questionably useful.
