Not a Good Experience in Tech Support

Good health care benefits. Coworkers were very smart and professional.
Cons
I worked at Oracle for over 5 years and never saw a pay raise. Technical Support Management only cared about their metrics. My first manager was good and seemed to care about his team somewhat. My second manager could hardly remember the names of his team members and constantly pointed out mistakes and flaws, very rarely praising a job well done. Formal training was nonexistent. Employees were required to read manuals and documents on their own for their training. We were significantly under staffed and over worked, yet they still laid off one third of our team (twice). Senior management would consistently preach about good customer service, then they would take away all of the tools to provide said service. Stressful environment. I don't miss it for minute!
