1. The manager I had drank the Oracle cool-aid and was unbearable to work for.
2. No pay increases or bonuses for people in Support because they are hourly.
3. Really under staffed Support teams in Enterprise Manager. So Support engineers are stressed and unable to provide high quality support. We had a lot of frustrated customers.
Most people at Oracle are motivated, easy to work with, and want to do the right thing. Some good life-balance options. Great healthcare benefits, 401K matching, etc.
Cons
Very limited career progression opportunities. No raises/bonuses. Can be tricky to navigate.
