Pros

Very flexible schedule Opportunities for internal training abound Stable, the company isn't going anywhere Good vacation and sick leave, and excellent benefits.

Cons

If you come in from an acquisition, the culture shock can be significant (and it's sink or swim) In spite of internal training opportunities, raises and promotions are difficult to come by 'Working from home' or working remotely not as institutionalized as it should be, so some departments are hard to communicate with

Pros

Pay, benefits, culture, opportunities for promotion and growth. New learning opportunities are always around the corner. You'll definitely stay busy. Opportunities to work from home in many positions.

Cons

Project management and workflow is sometimes inconsistent. Slower than average to adopt new technologies and ideas. Culture subject to change and potential degradation as company grows larger.
