Great Benefits, Liberal Telecommute Policy. Like my job very much. Have worked for company for 18 years and have been able to transfer around so I don't get bored. Awesome vacation package.

Cons

Long hours and not much down time. Worried about job security by outsourcing. Need better support from management to inforce deadlines and policies. Job cuts have pushed more work to fewer employees. Find it very hard to get time off. Lack of cordination between people that I have to work with. Wish they would have some guranteed pension plan. Employee morale is lacking. Lack of raises or recognition for a job well done

Being a global company, Equant represents many opportunities for career growth as well as the potential for travel and international relocation. Equant is a highly regarded service provider within their customer base and the telecoms market as a whole and has a relatively low turnover based on the benefits and work environment.

Cons

There are no real standout issues associated with working for Equant other than the challenges of working in a competitive industry. This however is also one of the biggest upsides is that no particular day is ever the same.
