Great Culture But Unstable Source of Income

Pros

Culture is great. Benefits WERE - because they had to remove it this year, allegedly. Management trusts their employees.

Cons

I thought I had the benefit of maternity leave, turns out I was laid off as I wasn't "re-hired" after my said leave.

Pros

Work is fine. Nothing to brag about.

Cons

No trust. Just basing performance off of numbers and screenshots of a remote tracking software on your personal laptop.

A Roller Coaster Ride at Outgive / SellerInteractive

Business Outlook

Pros

Medical Reimbursement: Outgive/ SellerInteractive offers medical reimbursement for the whole year, which is a decent perk. However, it's worth noting that there are caps based on your status and tenure. Slack Taco Redemption: The company provides rewards like Slack Taco redemption, although the options are somewhat limited in terms of what you can redeem. It's a fun perk, even if you can't claim all your earnings in one go.

Cons

Constant Management Changes: The management team at Outgive / SellerInteractive seems to be in a state of flux, with changes occurring frequently in recent weeks/months. This lack of stability can make it challenging for employees to adapt to shifting leadership and expectations. Layoffs and Compensation Issues: Outgive / SellerInteractive has recently laid off a significant number of employees, which has caused concern among the workforce. The fact that they're only providing a portion of one month's salary as severance, especially for tenured employees, can be demoralizing. Additionally, the practice of hiring new employees with similar responsibilities but lower salaries is disheartening and raises questions about fair compensation. Lack of Career Development: The company appears to fall short in terms of employee growth and development. There's a lack of benefits, promotions, or salary increases. Instead, they seem to create new role titles without a corresponding increase in compensation, leaving employees feeling undervalued. Increased Workload and Scope Creep: Outgive/ SellerInteractive is a tendency to overload employees with additional tasks and responsibilities that are outside of their original job descriptions. This can lead to burnout and reduced job satisfaction.
