Pros

Great Salesforce products. Free hot lunch daily, unlimited free snacks/breakfast food, regular happy hours/ dessert hours in the office. Free shuttles to/from Manhattan, Jersey City, Hoboken, West New York. They don't expect you to work late/come early because many people rely on the shuttles which arrive approximately on time and leave at 5:30 (though some people who don't take the shuttle may still work early/late). In office (not free) bi-weekly massages, manicures, barber cuts. Very cool office with a golf simulator, and gym. Great/friendly people (in non leadership positions at least).

Cons

Despite a few issues,I thought this was the best company I ever worked for, and potentially would ever work for. And then they announced that despite the fact that we've been fully remote or hybrid since March 2020, they were going to make every employee local to the HQ come in either 5 days a week, or 3 days a week dependent on their department (even though most 5 days a week can do their job just as easily at home). This would not have been as big of an issue if it was not for the location of the office. Yes, most people who live far have the shuttles, but it is still a long commute and you have to first commute to the shuttle. It feels like they are babying the employees that they don't care that we did a great job working from home for so long, they no longer trust us to work from home for no reason (and this is after last summer when we first moved to a hybrid model they said they would not put any company wide mandates on coming into the office, complete lie). Yes our office is cool, and I would still go in without any requirement, but not every day, and the fact that they weren't giving anyone a choice makes it so much worse. Then fast forward a month and a half and there were the layoffs. Some teams were completely decimated, while others were barely touched. Most people have no idea what their decision making process was for how they chose to lay off certain people and not others. And now no idea what the future of the company looks like, or whether there will still be internal mobility with such a reduced workforce, or if there will be raises. The people left are confused and unhappy, with moral on the floor, but still being forced to come into the office.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear you enjoy our products, benefits, and office perks. There are many benefits to being in the office on a regular basis. Employees are asked to come in on a cadence that best suits their role. For example, some roles, like workplace experience, are designed to be in the office. Some roles, like that of a graphic designer, are naturally suited to hybrid work. Being in the office allows colleagues to forge important connections, build relationships, and collaborate across teams and departments. There is simply no substitute for the connection, camaraderie, and collaboration that happens when colleagues work together in our office environment. The decision to realign our organization was not made lightly. We’ve worked extensively with our Executive Leadership team and board of directors to refine our plans to best succeed in today’s market. We’re very optimistic about the future of the company. If you have any other thoughts or questions, please reach out to your HRBP. Thank you.

Pros

Opportunities for growth, great learning environment, products are relatively easy to learn and implement (customers get almost immediate value), company values are solid, leadership seems to really care about their people.

Cons

Grew a little too fast, processes were lacking and there has been a lot of flying by the seat of your pants which isn’t ideal for a company that presents as an enterprise ready solution and partner. Seems to be a hesitancy at times to invest in technology to help teams scale their efforts but I think new leadership is working to change this.
