Outstanding leadership, market-leading products, excellent strategic decsionmaking, company has strong culture and lives its values and invests in its employees. Highly collaborative culture that eschews politics. I have worked at several tech companies, large and small, and this has the potential to be the best.

Cons

Like most tech companies, OwnBackup had to adjust from a world of abundant capital that put a premium on top-line growth, to one of scarce capital that puts a premium on profitability. OwnBackup adjusted quickly and intelligently. It was painful, but the company is now positioned to weather the current economic cycle and emerge one of the winners. OwnBackup is a smart, no-nonsense, results-oriented culture, not a fit for those who put lifestyle above the thrill and effort of building a great company.

Pros

People, product, values, market leader and leadership team. The company has amazing employees and leadership who really care about not only results but the people. Product is rock solid and customers appreciate it. Clear leader in space, customers realize how serious OwnBackup is with data security and this is documented. This makes security reviews much easier. Leadership team is caring, approachable, transparent and invests in the culture in "over the top" ways. Whether it is swag or events everything is always 1st rate.

Cons

Company took on a lot this year, at times it was overwhelming.
