Pros

Listens to employees, lots of possible positions/movement within the company, good benefits

Cons

There are a few people I’ve run across that don’t fit at PPD-not team players, divisive, catty. They can make things miserable until you roll off that project.

Pros

Dynamic work environment, always interesting

Cons

Churn and Burn is the name of the game. Lower salary, less work life balance. Was hired with 8 people and wound up being 3 of us left after 2 years.

Pros

Best gym in town. Beach location. Medical oriented work. Extended company locations much better than the HQ. Health benefits are decent. Philanthropy culture coming from the prior owner, but that is fading somewhat. Great place for new grads or early career to take lumps and move on.

Cons

Not top talent. Low performers from obscure schools & questionable experience. Not challenging. Nepotism. Many people hired are relatives and spouses, good ole boy network. Pay is low. HQ location at the beach is nice, but you learn that the company counts on this for low pay rates and high workload demand. Surrounding area has nearly zero to offer for competing work, but this is changing gradually. Opportunities are great if you're best friends or married to the local VP. Ethically complacent culture. High turnover of smart people, leaving the rest behind.
