Good work balance in the groups I worked for. Moving to newer technologies.

Cons

Wage freezes at times in the past 5 years. Moving to IoT company with the cost of RIFs in products that are the money makers.

Very friendly environment, a lot of smart people, no politics, huge vacations, job security, decent salary.. I've made a lot of good friends there.

Cons

Quite old technologies and methodologies used, tiny bonuses, lack of the career perspective. Reorganizations (and subsequent lay-offs) are twice a year. Lots of communications required - similar to any large company.
