      Declining benefits, pay seems a bit below satisfactory.

      Pros

      Although benefits have weakened over the years, PTC still offers reasonably good benefits to employees. Folks are generally very talented and hard working, without excessive political infighting filtering down from upper management (I'm sure it exists, though).

      Cons

      As a mid-cap public company, it operates at the whim of investors. A missed quarterly target can easily result in layoffs just to keep shareholders happy. And it definitely has the big company feel - very hard to be agile.

      Pros

      PTC genuinely looks after its people. The working conditions are excellent, and you’ll find many colleagues who’ve built their entire careers here. The culture is incredibly supportive, with everyone, regardless of level, happy to help. There are real opportunities to grow and to move between different parts of the business. New ideas are always welcomed.

      Cons

      While the overall compensation package is strong, the annual merit and salary review process can occasionally fall slightly short of expectations. However, the considerable benefits of the role and company culture far outweigh this single aspect.
