Kepware is a shadow of its former self
Pros
I worked at Kepware, which was aquired by PTC a couple years ago. Since then, things have changed dramatially, although slowly over time. Pros include excellent people, a gym in the building, a casual environment, decent benefits, and flexible hours. It's still a fine place to work, but not compared how it was a few years ago.
Cons
Kepware used to be a place where people had literally no complaints. Since being acquired by PTC, the culture has slowly eroded to the point where it's barely recognizable. All the pitfalls of a large company have crept in, and the icing on the cake is layoffs even though Kepware is apparently one of the only PTC brands actually making money. Constant IT issues plague the company, and a huge amount of time is spent in company-wide meetings watching execs deliver slides on things barely relevant to most workers. Favoritism exists, budgets are being cut, and it felt like performance reviews and "SMART goals" became more important than creating great products. There's more layers of management, more distraction, and what used to be a culture of transparency has become opaque.
