Pros

A regular paycheck Good healthcare coverage Good time off policies

Cons

Very little training Very little opportunities for career growth Pay is not the best No merit increases for a few years No bonuses unless you are at the top of the food chain PTC acquires new companies then terminates the unique culture at those companies Common message at company meetings is how great everything is going followed by: "we have a new strategy", "no merit increases for employees" , "more layoffs coming" and "we acquired another company" At the same time upper management continues to get fat stock bonuses

Pros

I've survived roughly 15 layoffs over the past 7 years. Probably because my salary is below market.

Cons

New CEO has a multimillion dollar bonus tied to EPS growth. The plan to acheive this is through constant layoffs, elimination of merit increases and other random reductions.

Pros

Overall good experience. Offer good work-life balance, however the unspoken expectation is for you to work sunrise hours or after hours to go "above and beyond". You have to be a self-starter to build your own network within the company to be successful. Great PTO benefits, health plans could be better.

Cons

PTC operates in silos, it is hard to collaborate with anyone. New CEO changed the company from an innovative focus to purely numbers focused. Constant re-organizations and lay-offs. They advertize education assistance but it will constantly be "paused" due to various reasons or they won't approve application. They advertise competitive salaries but they are far from it and merit increases (if they happen), are minimal and insulting. No promotions or role changes from within the company even if you express interest, they will go through lay offs and hire externally. Executive Leader of DEI is white, middle-aged male.
