There was an internal promotion within Software where many were encouraged to apply. However, most do not know that some were told not to apply (as they will never hey it) and others were ridiculed and became the "laughing stock" of the company. Before, it didnt take much to get promoted. But now, the company is not doing well and with the less than 1%avg raise across the companies so that they can pay the exorbitant amount of money to the Bay Areans and the useless CTO. The slap on the face was our holiday party served frozen hotdogs and slimey burgers in a city park (and they ran out of food) AND the CTO buying cookies and coffee after he received his millions of dollars for his holiday bonus.
