Pros

Pretty laid back and good work/life balance.

Cons

There are little room for young people for growth as most of the career opportunities are saturated by old-timers and literally you need to count your years to earn that position rather than by your skill sets or accomplishment.

Pros

Relatively easy to get hired due to the high turnover rate. Good way to get on with a major airline. You will work side by side with airline employees and can demonstrate your skills and character. You will learn their technical data, procedures, and paperwork making you a potentially valuable asset. In the meantime you will be getting paid and you will be receiving rather good benefits.

Cons

This is not an avionics company. 96% of the company has no idea what an airplane is or how the aviation industry works. They are a disorganized, poorly managed electronics company with more finger pointing than the recent Democratic debates. HR has no concept of aviation industry standards. Not willing to keep up with industry pay. QA and maintenance control has very little actual aviation experience. Logistics only knows part numbers and has no concept of what the parts do.

Pros

Most people are working hard and friendly. Communication is good among the organization. Engineers are knowledgeable and helpful each other.

Cons

Re-organization has been going on in whole engineering department and ended up to tens of lay off. It seems changes are made by strong authority without considering processes for successful transitioning of organizational structure.
