Pros

For the temporary assignment, I was able to work 1st shift, 8-4:30 daily which was nice. Nice cafeteria. Somewhat clean bathrooms

Cons

I worked in a typical call center environment. Every phone call was monitored and bathroom breaks were timed. There was very little chance of getting time off when needed and not much opportunity for advancement. I didn't even get my own desk to work at. I worked in a temporary position with several others. One day after lunch in the middle of the week, they told us all that our assignment was over without any warning.

Pros

Potential remote work if no branch in your area.

Cons

Health coverage changed and is more expsensive, You can earn a great amount of PTO BUT are never allowed to take it. Poor increases that don't reflect positive reviews. Forced into position that they deem "lateral" when they are demotions. Lying about job duties, then changing them every month. Micromanagement by AI and leadership is out of control. EE's are not allowed to speak amongst themselves. Leadership is pushing India partners on all aspects and its ruined the quality and customer satisfaction. Clients are aware and are leaving in mass. I don't know what, why or even who thought this was a good direction to go! Since Gibson is in charge the issues fall on him. The future for Paychex is very cloudy and quite honestly if they continue this path the company may be bought out or go under due to the amount of client turn over. No accountability even though its one of their "core values". Sr leadership leaving in mass as well.

Pros

The only pros i can think of were the benefits.. if you ever had time to use them..

Cons

High turnover for a reason, managers were useless and liked to gossip with each other about their own team, regional manager is also a misogynist(told a colleague of mine if she slept around with clients to make sales), you will be over worked, underpaid, cheated, and when you reach out for help you will be over looked unless you do well.. you'd think management would help those who needed it most, not piggy back on those that did well already. Unrealistic quotas, your commission is based off how much more you can charge a business owner, which most of the time, didnt happen unless you gave up everything and thats just to make your quota so essentially no money since other companies offer a much more affordable pricing package. You'll be walking up an escalator thats going down. They will constantly sell you a lie and tell you that it gets better, it doesn't. Go to any other company.
