      My time here was pleasant and enjoyable for the work that I was doing.

      Pros

      There's no boss breathing down your neck even though you have to comply with the store rules/procedures that you're in.

      Cons

      A challenge I faced here was typical with all sales driven places was that some of the orders were pretty bad and you have to work through pretty much all of them if you're competent.

      Frito lay-early hours and no raises

      Pros

      Im a merchandiser and have been woth frito lay for 5 years. Get off work around 12 and have the rest of the day. As long as you do your job and store managers aren't complaining then your boss doesn't bother you. Decent pay. I like my boss and most of the people I work with.

      Cons

      Early hours. I get up around 3 every morning. No weekends. Store managers are jerks. You pick vacations at beginning of year and hope by the time it gets to you there is a week in the summer left. I got 1 raise in 5 years. When I ask for a raise they just say there's nothing they can do its all corporate. If 1 merchandiser gets a raise then all do. What happened to someone deserving a raise because they work hard and are reliable. No opportunity for growth. They hire kids straight out of college who have never worked a job to be in management and not within the company.

      Pros

      If you dot mind hard labor this is your best meal ticket in the carbonated and new age beverage industry. A company that strives to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and truly knows how to care and career develop it's employees. For the most part , everyone is happy here, logisticly well put together. Teams are well rounded with some of the most outstanding employees eager to help one another. You work smart and hard and you will reap good pay and benefits along with high potential for promotions.

      Cons

      For every good batch there will always be a few bad seeds. Most employees pride in what they do and work feverishly to meet and exceed the standards of operation. Very few try to get by passing the buck.
