Pros

The company has great benefits and offers a decent salary for salaried employees. Great brand recognition and job security. Never a dull moment at work. The company looks great on you resume.

Cons

Long hours and stress. Continually asked to do jobs outside of your job requirements. No praise from upper management for helping other departments when needed. Staffing, always playing catch-up we never have enough people to get the job done right. If not part of the inner circle, or dont agree with upper management on all aspects of the business, you will get past by on promotions. Constantly putting my family and friends on hold due to the extra hours and days required to work . Constantly bothered on off days because the business never sleeps. Management is not allowed to manage thier business completly with out human resources butting in.

Pros

The healthcare benefits are wonderful.

Cons

It is completely about politics. Many lazy people who go to the topless bars with their bosses, and go out for drinking get promoted. Meanwhile, those that do an honest day's work get left behind. The pay is a joke for the work you do. Pepsi has many unbelieveable hurdles to meet. And when they are not met, they play the blame game for reasons why the numbers had not been me. They rarely look at the fact that they underpay the employess, expect them to work on assigned holidays, weekends. Yet if you are in the "club" you can get away with murder.

Pros

Cons

My job got dissolved in the internal reorg at Pepsi, and instead of being offered another job, I had to interview against all of my other coworkers for a position. Naturally, I also job searched outside of Pepsi since I no longer knew if I had a job. I found another opportunity that provided a better path for my career to expand on my critical experiences and that offered a higher salary. I left on the best of terms with the company, working two weeks before exiting, having several individuals tell me if I ever wanted to come back to just call them and that I was extremely valued for my work. One month after exiting, I received an email that I owed $8,600 dollars - 50% of my relocation package when they paid me to relocate cities. I completed 91% of the agreed upon timeline of 24 months before I was out of the contract. I notified upper leadership for a request to waive the repayment due to my extensive commitment to the company with multiple out of scope projects, overworking, and being in their accelerated talent program thus putting my best foot forward for the organization. They denied my request, and said that they will not waive the fee even they didn’t tell me prior to exiting when I could’ve negotiated a sign on bonus or pushed my start date back with my other company
