Pros

PepsiCo is so large that there’s generally healthy movement across the organization. The pay isn’t horrible and the benefits are standard across other major employers. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, you can do some really impactful work since there’s plenty of things to fix at PepsiCo.

Cons

Corrupt leadership Slowness to fix everything; even things that are noticeably deteriorating the organization Poor technology, low usage, and multiple systems that do the same thing Performance ratings truly don’t matter except for keeping your employment. It’s not a way to get ahead. You can be excellent talent but be blocked from movement or due praise because of the leader you’re under. This isn’t exclusive to PepsiCo but it has happened here more than any other employer I’ve worked at.

Favoritism and unqualified promotions in HR

Pros

They are struggling to get people to work in their manufacturing plants. So, if you are willing to and you have a degree, enjoy the comfortable salary that they use to get people in. Their corporate office is full of talkers too - so, if you love coming to work to chat around and do little actual work, you'll enjoy this place.

Cons

Lots of favoritisms. The place is great for people who like to talk a lot and show off. Lousy structure. You will see many young kids who lack experience holding big job titles like directors and senior managers. Even HR has people who look like they are still in school and lack knowledge. Many internal promotions are based on who knows who. If you are a highly capable specialist, they will recognize you but they will also overwork you and these incompetent higher ups will dump a lot of work on you in the name of growth or development opportunities.
