Pros

A consistent work schedule. Ability to increase pay with more sales. Great benefits- pension, sharepower options, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, many other added benefits. Light weight work compared to other vendor jobs in similar food retail. We are the leader in snack foods and that creates the sense of pride in the company that we are number 1.

Cons

no sick time off without a financial penalty. in other words, if you are out sick you receive $80 per day. For most, this is about 50% of the normal income for that day. Demanding sales plans/goals. Sometimes its impossible to achieve their expectations in regards to sales. They expect double digit growth when they know the economy is in a recession. Mandatory or mandated account layouts and promotions give very little room for creativity. The company has too much dead weight and too many people who collect a paycheck and barely justify why they're employed.

Pros

Good pay, great benefits, good company for those without a degree!

Cons

Hours, work/life balance. Management does not respond to consumer trends, it comes from corp., and that takes a while to trickle down.

Pros

The salary is at or above the industry standard, you develop a close bond with other RSR's, benefits are excellent, and relocation possibilities are limitless.

Cons

If you are married or have kids, you better tattoo their faces on every crevice of your body because you will NEVER see them. Expect work weeks from 50-75 hours a week. Having your days off split up means you never feel fully rested to restart your day on the job. You will work EVERY holiday. They tell you not to work Christmas but all you are really doing is doubling your workload on another day. They make you work a day for free. You have to sign a wavier specifying that you will not help during your "Route Ride" but if you don't then you will not get hired. Someone will eventually get hurt one day and sue. Everything is about numbers and you basically compete with yourself. Horrible treatment of employees, horrible company.
