Pros

Summer Friday's Week between Christmas and New Years - semi off Product Allowance

Cons

IT at this company is in a sad, sad state. Recently named global CIO is an immature man child that has no expertise. The way you get ahead in this company is to be French, a man, an alcoholic. Company makes deals at the bar - deals aren't made on whats best for the company -its what is most inexpensive and cross it off the check list. IT is headed in a really bad direction, I have never seen a company spiraling downward so fast. Politics are the name of the game and if you can't be a politician don't expect to last. Expect to be thrown under the bus and when they tell you they value your opinion and expertise…..don't listen. All they want are puppets.

Pros

Initially it’s great – parties, fun people, access to the best places, seems like a great place to work. Employees are generally proud to be associated with the company.

Cons

Once you start to think about a career, if you’re not French, white, male and “sponsored” you’re not going anywhere. Tries to project a young, cool, funky image (and they’re very good at this as it’s a marketing-centered company), but in reality it’s a very French, family-run traditional business, where your friends are more important than your ability. Nobody can take a decision until it’s passed all the way up the chain; micromanagement is the order of the day. To be fair to the CEO, he gives the impression that he's trying to change the company. But he's from the family, so it's going to be difficult for him to understand and make the changes that are needed: and obviously, he is a white, French, sponsored male...

Pros

Nice perks, events and parties. Beautiful office.

Cons

Sink or swim culture. It is not for everyone. Favoritism is played. Management style is instill fear of losing job in order to 'motivate' employee. They seem to want to have a certain number of people on performance improvement plan at all times. Many qualified employees are not given the chance to move to another department. People are over-worked and under-paid. The stress level is extremely high not so much because of the work itself, but because of the behaviors of managers. Best for young people who are trying to get experience and are willing to sacrifice their personal life in the process.
