French dominated. Treats locals like punching bags. Tries to be nice on the surface but behind closed doors meeting room doors it’s a different story altogether. French management being brought into Singapore without much cultural knowledge of the local market. Throwing tantrums when locals try to feedback, causing a silent culture where nobody speaks up fearing for being punished or terminated with 101 reasons cooked up. Always been told this is being direct when it is just plain bullying. Call it what it is and stop painting a different picture. Wonder why finance background is a good option to lead when there is an obvious lack of holistic awareness of running a region. Functional mgmt lack prior experience of their own functions and throwing a fit if staff do not agree to take on what is not their scope of work. Do your own work or get your own department to do it. Leave others alone. We are busy enough. HR is so scared of offending the French so went on a bullying spree on targetted staff. Singapore is not a cheap country to live in so French here should do their research and stop throwing tantrums when they don’t get luxury villas and continental cars they thought they can get here
