      Pros

      I found Philips to be a great employer when it came to the basics. Pay was good, benefits were good, work/life balance was acceptable. I was able to search for opportunities for growth.

      Cons

      Beginning in September of each year - layoffs were always a fear. It began to feel like we were the cast of Survivor - wondering who would get voted off each year. This year I (along with many others) were voted off. A company can only restructure so many times before it loses its way.

      Smart people, great engineers however leadership is very weak.

      Cons

      Quality function is out of control. Local QA and corporate Quality policies are ridiculous. This company has had too many issues with FDA compliance.
