Pros

Decent 401k, products designed to help patients

Cons

Consistently behind in innovation. Competition will improve and Philips doesn’t. Leadership only driven by KPI and touch points, and doesn’t understand individual strengths and weaknesses for overall market. Growth is by luck and not strategy.

Toxic work culture

Pros

Collaborative teams and generally always willing to help at the employee level

Cons

Extremely political and judgmental environment, especially across the leadership level both regionally and globally. Lack of leadership qualities in the people hired to take a stand for what is right, festering an environment for unethical behaviour and herd mentality. The everyday working environment is filled with ambiguity, lack of clear direction and non transparent way of communication from key leadership. Overall some leaders are bureaucratic serving their own purpose and some very evident undertones of racism in decision making.
