Thanks for your feedback. We’re always interested in providing people with a fulfilling and rewarding career. Possibilities regarding progression can differ in different departments of course. But having a good working environment and offering a healthy challenge is an integral part of what’s important to us to offer to you besides compensation and benefits.

Overall Great Company - HR Shared Services a poor group

Pros

Work life balance, great benefits, amazing innovations

Cons

The HR Shared Services group has limited to NO career development opportunities and are constantly focused on numbers rather than making improvements - claim to be "lean" but really just focus on getting the MOST done... Management has consistently embarrassed employees on the floor in front of others

Hi there, Thanks for sharing your thoughts about our brand. You should be able to form a valid opinion, having 5+ years experience in our company. Nice that you see Philips as innovative and beneficial. Sorry to hear about the experiences with your management though! We take that very seriously. Please know that we have a Philips Ethics Line for these kind of situations. In case of on the job learning, we encourage our employees to develop themselves within their role. We use a 70/20/10 learning model (70% learning on the job, 20% coaching and 10% training) which allows each employee to grow both personally and professionally in the areas they are most interested in pursuing.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us here. We are here to listen and learn and we take this very seriously. At Philips we believe that the best place to work is an inclusive place to work. This means celebrating and fostering a work environment in which all of our people’s ideas, knowledge, perspectives, experiences and styles are valued. It also means that all individuals are treated fairly and respectfully, have equal access to opportunities and resources and can contribute fully to Philips’ success. If you ever feel mistreated or unequal, please talk to your manager about this, or contact the Philips Ethics Line. About getting time-off, we don’t want our colleagues to be stressed out! Although we do understand that our company can be fast-paced and dynamic, we don’t want you to be overburdened. That’s a valid point. Thanks again for sharing your review and please know that it’s appreciated.
