      Management promoted with not much experience as along as you're part of the good ol boys club. They work you to death.

      Forces PTO Usage During Shutdown

      Pros

      Federal Holidays are mostly covered by the company. Coworkers are fun and make work enjoyable.

      Cons

      Plant manager only cares about numbers. He doesn’t care if there is 8 inches of snow is on the ground and it’s still coming down. He also started mandated PTO usage during the two weeks of shut down. Maybe it’s normal however the other manufacturing companies that I know during the two weeks of shutdown they cover it or they make you use 5 days instead of 10 to cover the entirety of the two weeks of shutdown. Safety is questionable.

      apathetic and incompetent management. employees are kept in the dark and have no real say in company policy or culture.
