Pros

Good benefits and good brand

Cons

If you pay close attention you will notice apart from the team in India they need as engineers or a select few Asians 90 percent of the USA team is white. CEO president and 90 percent of managers. Including all lower level staff. 90 percent all white. And they blame and fire women the most. If women managers or other admin staff don’t kiss as they are fired.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. It’s unfortunate to hear that your Philips experience has been far from ideal; this is not the standard we are aiming for, when it comes to our company values. At Philips we believe that the best place to work is an inclusive place to work. This means celebrating and fostering a work environment in which all of our people’s ideas, knowledge, perspectives, experiences and styles are valued. Therefore, your feedback will be used in the aggregate to continuously improve the lives and work experience of our employees. We would also like to encourage you to share your experience with our independent Ethics Line, via this link: https://secure.ethicspoint.eu/domain/media/en/gui/100518/report.html. Thank you again, and we wish you all the best with your career.

Pros

The work life balance is pretty good; No bossy manager, everyone is very supportive, Ample family time and personal life balance Also there is decent hike every year; Even someone with low performance would also get 5-6% ; Although promotion takes 4 years, you can get a progression in 2 years. which is like a half promotion and you get around 15-20% hike ; Leaves are good. If you want to learn something on your own then also you get support

Cons

No Decent project with latest tech; whatever little projects are there they are still using the legacy technology; for eg we are still writing data pipelines on Eclipse Java,; things take a long time to settle and come into action Worst management decision making basically you dont get any good work; this is true across the board Even RnD team is filling out excel sheets
