Pros

Good benefits, comprehensive insurance and flexi benefits. Good exposure to cross country/Apac experience. Management usually adopts a worklife balance approach, doesn't micromanage

Cons

very bad organisation for a conglomerate/MNC - messy, no proper team scopes. Team managers/leads do not have experience growing people and dedicating work clearly. Systems and platforms are all over the place, different systems and platforms across the business that complicates things.

Pros

They operate on a sub-par level.

Cons

Sure, you'll see Asian and South Asian workers because they are most likely paid a lot less than white counterparts, but outside of custodial staff, you will find very, very few African-American employees . I have seen "Irish Power" written on white boards, and witnessed a manager tell a subordinate that she should use simple words with South Asians so they can understand her. The place is a throwback to 1952. Do better.

Thanks for sharing, we do take these matters seriously and your comments have been noted. It's very unfortunate you've encountered this experience at Philips. Please know this is not what we stand for, and doesn't reflect our company's values. Please know Philips Management Team is active on this platform, and your feedback has been duly noted in order to improve our ways of working. We would recommend reaching out to our independent Ethics Line: https://secure.ethicspoint.eu/domain/media/en/gui/100518/report.html. They will conduct a thorough investigation on this matter. We hope this helps, and we wish you all the best.
