Pros

Easy commute to work and back, semi-flexible work schedule, benefits (insurance, STD, LTD, etc.) were very good, salary was fair.

Cons

Incompetent management, from department level all the way up to Director, had to carefully balance doing a thorough job and not upsetting the office political protocols, engineering groups always looking for ways to circumvent regulatory processes and procedures.

Cons

Compensation feels lacking for the lower rung people. Business structure always changing so direct reports is constantly changing.
