Pros

Great Benefits, nice people, and products you can be proud to say you were a part of

Cons

Management. Don't even know where to begin. Every 2 or 3 years a new CEO joins the company and direction changes again. Managers are rewarded for poor behavior and the raises are below par.

Pros

The company is employee friendly and innovation driven. There is a flat hierarchy and the atmosphere is one of co-operation to bring out the best in each other.

Cons

There should be better care taken to face difficult times like the economic crisis

Management is disconnected

Pros

- Interesting industry - in healthcare, you have the opportunity to know that the work you're doing can help to change lives. - Name recognition - a big global company that most people know (even if you do have to prompt them by saying "you know, the light bulbs") - Global company. There is opportunity to work in various places around the world, if desired.

Cons

- Management makes decisions without understanding real impact on employees. Most often, - Compensation does not reflect industry standard or personal effort. Salaries are generally below average. Bonus structure continues to get worse. Much of the compensation plan is based on factors that only Sr. Management can impact. Individual contribution is not valued for salary consideration. - "Good ol' guys" club is apparent. Long stints at the company mean that people who shouldn't be promoted are given management roles because their friends help them along. You have to tread lightly to be sure you don't offend the wrong people. Lots of game playing.
