Pros

Dynamic markets, great culture, very experienced teams. A headquarter stuffed away in the tuscan hills,... it is very good. A company with a strong brand, and all the resources to meet the challenges given.

Cons

You will have to drive up in the mountains. The way of working is international, but definitely has some of the italian ways, especially in management of priorities

Pros

Potential to transfer internationally. Average benefits. Politically-adroit group-thinkers can secure long-term employment and promotion without the stress of actually formulating opinions, original thoughts, or contributing anything of value.

Cons

Management solutions generally involve creating an additional internal website, weekly conference call, or level of management. Outside-the-box solutions and independent thinking strongly discouraged.

Pros

Flat hierarchy provides a lot of opportunity for a wide-breadth of work experience via lateral moves. Openness to cross-functional moves, which brings new perspectives to a team. International work force, especially in global HQ. Good at offering international work experience to employees. Beginning to create a Consumer Lifestyle product portfolio that makes more sense in the "health and wellness" area.

Cons

Flat hierarchy does allow for much team management experience until later on. Continuous cross-functional moves means a lot of lost history and time spent bringing new people up to speed on their new function. Few opportunities for promotion within the company. Recent financial announcements have created a culture that does not value innovation or market share gain (despite statements to the contrary) but rather cost-cutting and retrenching to find a way forward. The move to become a "health and wellness" company is slow and causing confusion.
