Excellent HR policies, Global HR practises, Good Employer of choice to work....a lot of restructuring keeps happening....Shared Services was sold to Infosys, NXP was off loaded, Consumer Electronics and Domestic appliance were merged, TV business was contracted to Vodafone, Preeti a local company in Chennai was accquired to create leadership in appliances....from a slow and steady european company Philips is becoming very dynamic in its approach.

Cons

While they do a lot of such M&A they need a lot more clarity on how to the impacted people are handled. I was a part of their Shared Services that was offloaded to Infosys and for a long period there was no clarity on how the people will get impacted.
