Innovative technologies that have a meaningful impact on the world (medical imaging systems).

Cons

Extremely old and conservative company. Too consensus based. Overly siloed and fragmented accross business units (EU) and key markets that do not work together. Its easy to get pigeonholed in a portions of a "career" you would experience at most other companies. Philips is very poor at integrated marketing (strategic/tactical is separate). Very few leaders understand how business works, only how Philips does business. A lack of career development initiatives and career opportunities.

End game in play for the manufacturing capability in the US, outsourcing to Inida, ROC, and Korea in place and sales and repair becoming the primary employment opportunties over the mid-term.
