Pros

Flexible with work hours and schedule

Cons

Lack of communication between management and hourly employees doing the actual work. Management and those in supervisory roles need to be re-evaluated as most of them don’t listen to any feedback given and go and do and say what they want without any repercussions. Micromanagement is HIGH. Those with more seniority than you are super condescending. Certain employees get singled out by management and sometimes get embarrassed by said management. Supervisors and management tend to show favoritism to one or two employees and let the rest of us kick dust. Super unprofessional in that aspect. Not a lot of room for growth, no matter how hard you work.

Best Place to Grow

Pros

Very good company for fresh graduates (0–3 years experience). Supportive and professional work culture. Structured corporate system — clear SOPs and processes. Stable manufacturing environment with strong quality standards. Good management team and clear reporting structure. International brand name adds strong value to your CV. Regular employee events and engagement activities. Work-life balance is generally better than many manufacturing companies. Salary is decent and competitive within the manufacturing sector.

Cons

You may hit a career ceiling relatively early, especially at middle staff to early lead level. Salary growth tends to plateau — several cases of limited progression beyond a certain band. Compensation structure can feel flat unless you move into senior leadership. Digital transformation maturity is still behind some comparable manufacturing MNCs. Decision-making can be bureaucratic due to large organizational structure.

Pros

Philips HQ is in Netherlands. Culture coming down from Executive Leadership is notably more positive than I've seen working with American companies.

Cons

There are challenges with Quality Culture that company is working through. Things are trending positively.
