One of the standout pros is the direct managerial support, which is priceless if you are fortunate to have a good manager. The organization harbors a wealth of seasoned professionals who have been with the company for decades. Their experience is a rich resource, and the collaborative culture enables knowledge sharing, making the complex, multilayered organizational structure a learning playground. Leading cross-functional program teams and being a part of strategic initiatives were experiences that honed my leadership, project management, and change management skills.

      Cons

      On the flip side, Philips exhibits traits characteristic of a 'boomer company' with entrenched processes and bureaucratic hurdles. The procedural rigmarole often acts as a bottleneck, stifling swift decision-making and agility, which are crucial in today's fast-paced business environment.
