Pros
Some of the customers are lovely. Working on the tills is always quite fun as you get to talk to the customers and the day goes a lot quicker. Some of the managers are lovely, they will encourage you when you're working on a task and are happy to work just as hard as the rest of us.
Cons
I've worked at my store for around 4 months now. At first it seemed like a great place to work but after a couple of weeks I was being thrown around each department. I never know where I'm going to work when I turn up and every manager has different knowledge on where they thought I should be. There are a few nice managers, however the majority of them seem to enjoy shouting at people to work faster and complain how nothing is getting done, yet they walk around in groups of two not helping at all. The days drag a lot as you spend the whole day picking up people's clothes they've dumped on the floor. They say they're great at offering holidays however if you apply for a day off, you rarely find out until a couple of days before if you've got it off or not.
