Sometimes workload is strenuous. Can be a hostile environment if you are new. Sometimes you get left to do your job with no guidance. I had no training to tell me about my job role. Just was told what to do and then left to it. Poor training and guidance bad if you have never been in retail before. Also had to take time off for bereavement. They said unless it's immediate family no can do! Which is unacceptable!

It is a quite a hierarchy right there and if you want to go up the line you need to "know" the right person. I find this very old-school way of getting promoted, but may be this is the case just in this store.
